Nephwrack was founded in 2001, dissolved in 2012, and reconvened in 2023 with measured enthusiasm. Across these years, we have released a number of albums, EPs, and demos. The first of these was issued on cassette and reviewed by Kerrang! back when both the magazine and our interest in its opinions were in better shape.

We are currently at work on a new release. Whether it qualifies as an album is a matter of some debate, though it is certainly album-length. The format question feels increasingly academic in any case. Much of the recording is being handled on a computer, our forties having quietly retired the option of playing riffs at length. Nephwrack is, at this stage, more machine than man, a pub-rock Darth Vader, of sorts.

We think the results are good. Release is expected in 2024 or 2025. Possibly 2026. Ideally 2024, but we have learned not to make promises.
