Unfortunately, Nephwrack will be unable to perform on the RIP Stage at Download Festival this year due to an injury sustained by our drummer, Al.
We’re absolutely gutted to miss it and want to thank everyone at Download, the RIP team, and all of you who were planning to come out and see us.
Right now, the focus is on Al making a full recovery. We appreciate all the support and understanding, and we hope to be back on stage with you all again soon.

We officially opened the Download Festival on the Wednesday 11th, June and it was a hoot. Some technical gremlins aside, we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd to open up one of the greatest metal shows on earth. Thank to everyone who made it over to the Courtyard Stage to watch us belt out some classic Nephwrack jams. We appreciate you!

We’ve got a new track on the way soon and it’s a bit of a belter. The first single from our upcoming new album, Ancestor will be out before we hit the stage at Download Festival. Sneaky peak below!
OK, so we can’t say when (due to the huge costs involved but hopefully soon the classic “The Once and Future King” album will be getting a vinyl re-release. It’s only taken 20 years. Sorry about the wait.
You may (or may not) know that we made a pretty good record a decade ago. Due to legal reasons, we had to pull the release before it was ever pressed. This was pretty much the last nail in the coffin for Nephwrack.
That’s sad, isn’t it? Well, yeah. It sucked. But the good news is that we’re going to re-record it. All tracks will be reworked, new drums, vocals, lyrics… the whole nine yards. It also gives us the chance to right a few wrongs and a chance to add in some sweet tunes that were left on the studio floor due to time constraints.
We’ll keep you posted on the progress!
Our good buds and brothers in metal, Terrathorn have been added to the Hobbit Pub gig on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024. Yes!!
